  1. Search for a therapist using the fields relevant to your requirements e.g. postcode, gender, style of therapy.
  2. Select the therapists from the list that match your requirements by reading their profile & qualifications.
  3. Use the contact button, filling in a simple form with your details & your preferred method of contact.
  4. Your chosen therapist will contact you via your preferred method.
  5. Once the therapist has responded, you can decide whether you would like to go ahead & arrange an initial assessment.
  6. The initial assessment gives you the opportunity to explore the problems you are experiencing, establish whether therapy is right for you and whether you can work with the therapist.
  7. Once you have decided to attend the assessment & have agreed the day & time, you pay UKTherapyGuide.com direct to confirm the session.
  8. At the Assessment you can decide whether you wish to go ahead with therapy.
  9. If you decide to proceed, you can agree a fee and a regular once weekly session time. Sessions are usually 50 minutes.
  10. Phone or internet therapy is different and varies according to the individual therapist. It is suggested that you discuss this at your initial contact session.
